We were invited to participate in the 2018 Hexham Abbey Festival and had the opportunity to perform a varied programme in collaboration with renowned organist John Butt, within the magnificent setting of Hexham Abbey at 7.30pm on Thursday 27th September 2018.
The inspiration behind our programme was taken from the festival’s theme of two events which occurred one hundred years ago; the signing of the Armistice on 11 November, which brought the First World War to an end, and British women gaining the right to vote and voting in the General Election of December 1918.
