The Wallace Collection was invited to join Foden’s Band at the Royal Northern College of Music on 29 April 2017. The event forms part of Foden’s Three Year Strategic Music and Audience Development Plan 2016-2019, for which they successfully gained support from Arts Council England’s Grants for the Arts scheme.
The Wallace Collection performed Michael Tilson Thomas’s Street Song as their solo contribution, and joined Foden’s Band to perform Concerto for Brass Quintet and Brass Band by Derek Bourgeois.
[Prior to the event]: We are looking forward to promoting and sharing the stage with the famous Wallace Collection. Foden’s are a partner of the RNCM and John Wallace is one of the band’s Vice Presidents.
