CD Release! Origin of the Species Revisited

Origins of the Species Revisited recording which includes the Quintettes 1, 2, 3, and 12 of Jean-François Bellon is now released.

The recordings are performed on original period instruments using copies of the original parts/scores from The British Library, London.   Written from 1848-1850 for the principal players of the Paris Opera, these are early works for the newly-developing chromatic brass instruments of the time.
