The Fourth Book of Trumpet Solos by John Wallace and John Miller is now available, with 12 pieces in Grade 4-6 standard. The works include several classic works from Mahler and Mouret to Gershwin, along with 2 new works by John Wallace. These pieces are ideal for auditions or recitals at school or junior Conservatoire level and work well to meet the performance needs of GCSE music requirements.
Similar to the Third Book of Trumpet Solos, live instrumental, complimentary backing-tracks are provided with each solo book to enhance the learning process and support the student with performance opportunities, and to play at home to family and friends.
The Complete Package includes the solo book (with performance notes), piano accompaniment and 3 downloadable MP3 accompaniment tracks (recorded live) for each piece (with and without the solo line, and at a slower speed for use while learning). The books are also available separately, and the solo book includes the downloadable accompaniment tracks.
This volume, along with the recently released Third Book of Trumpet Solos, continues the well-established excellence of the First Book of Trumpet Solos and Second Book of Trumpet Solos.
